Join Zaytinya for an intimate dinner and conversation with Aglaia Kremezi, leading Greek food writer, journalist and Zaytinya’s chef partner.
Before opening the first Zaytinya in DC, Chef José Andrés traveled to Greece to work with leading Greek food writer and journalist Aglaia Kremezi. Today, more than 15 years later, Aglaia is still a valuable friend and partner to José and the entire Zaytinya team.
Aglaia is the author of the Julia Child Award-winning book ‘The Foods of Greece’ and now leads a cook’s tour of the entire region with her latest ‘Mediterranean Vegetarian Feasts’. Kremezi provides one-of-a-kind insights into Greek food and culture as she has become a master on culinary practices in the Greek Islands.
The special evening will feature dishes from her cookbook and the fresh flavors of spring. Aglaia, along with Head Chef Jon Thompson and Zaytinya Concept Chef Michael Costa, will present each dish.
