18sepAll DayThe Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum's One-Year Anniversary

Event Details

When The Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum (DHHRM) opened the doors to its brand new 55,000-square-foot home last year on September 18, the Museum staff was excited to welcome visitors from near and far to share its mission of teaching the history of the Holocaust and advance human rights to combat prejudice, hatred, and indifference. The new location in Dallas’ West End covers three floors, and the main exhibition includes four wings: Orientation Wing, Holocaust/Shoah Wing, Human Rights Wing, and Pivot to America Wing.

When the pandemic hit at the half year mark of the Museum’s opening, it pivoted quickly to continue providing educational content free of charge virtually. The physical doors to the Museum recently reopened on August 14.

This Friday, in honor of the Museum’s one year anniversary, DHHRM is offering a membership special and $9 admission for that day. In line with DHHRM’s new safety protocols, museum attendance is capped at 25 percent occupancy. Purchase tickets in advance at the Learn More link.
