The Plano Symphony Orchestra is proud to present a special cultural event, in partnership with the Plano International Festival and Indie Meme.

3:45 pm – Doors open.

4:00 pm – Enjoy live veena music by Nandhini Ayyalu, and traditional Indian singing by Varsha Appaji.

4:30 to 5:45pm – Exclusive showing of the film Simple Notes, a “Beautiful and moving story of a boy who overcomes tragedy through music.” Directed by famed singer, musician and composer Arijit Singh. Bengali with English subtitles.

6:10 pm – In depth Q&A with expert panel.

Proceeds to support the Plano Symphony Orchestra’s Scholarship Program, funded by the Alice Hobbs Education & Outreach Fund.
