When the big game hits on February 3, most North Texans will enjoy cheering for (or against) the Patriots and Rams from their home or from a local party. One local family is prepared to bring a taste of New England direct to Patriots fans across North Texas.
Legendary local fishmonger Rick Oruch and his team at Sea Breeze Fish Market & Grill will be preparing gallons of New England clam chowder (gluten free), miles of traditional New England lobster rolls, clams, seafood and more! Guests can order pints, quarts or gallons of chowder and trays of lobster rolls at either Sea Breeze Fish Market & Grill, or their sister restaurant, Sea Breeze Lobsta & Chowda House in Plano’s Legacy Hall.
“We source our hand-picked lobster and the clams for our New England clam chowder from a family in Ipswich, MA,” explains Oruch. “And, our special lobster roll buns come in regular shipments from a bakery in Somerset, MA. ”
Oruch notes that the ability to get fresh product delivered daily to Love Field means that he can often have fresh seafood in house mere hours from when it was out of the water.
The restaurant is immensely popular with New England transplants, who come for the traditional regional specialties as well as specials such as whole belly clams. “We even named one of our samplers ‘A Taste of New England,’ because it offers diners a taste of several regional favorites.
Sea Breeze Fish Market & Grill is known for bringing the freshest fish and shellfish in from both coasts, as well as the gulf. Oruch filets whole fish to order daily, thus guaranteeing the freshest product both in his award-winning restaurant and from his fish market.
