Did you know that unintentional injuries are the #1 cause of death for people between the ages of 1 and 44? Unintentional injuries are also the 4th leading cause of death in the United States. In an emergency situation, approximately 35% of accident victims die of severe bleeding before they get to a hospital. “Stop the Bleed” is a nationwide campaign to teach you how to recognize and stop life threatening bleeding and save a life.
This FREE 1.5 hour course is designed to teach:
- How to recognize life threatening bleeding
- Various methods to stop life threatening bleeding
- Tourniquets
- Wound packing
- Holding pressure

- 12:00-1:30 PM
