Event Details

The ArtCentre of Plano is inviting all Plano Art Association members and the general public to a special art presentation by John Bramblitt.

John is an amazingly talented artist who is completely blind. He has developed the remarkable ability to literally “see” paint pigments through touch. He has an incredible story of inspiration every sighted artists needs to hear. His art is a demonstration of skill and finesse any artist could envy. Imagine the subtleties required to paint a portrait, then imagine doing it without sight.

John was featured in a Plano Magazine article previously. John’s work has been sold in over 30 countries all over the world and featured in hundreds of stories on TV, radio and newspaper.

In addition to John’s presentation, you will be able to be an early viewer of the Kinsey Exhibit. The ArtCentre describes this exhibit as “a once in a lifetime exhibition: The Kinsey African American Art & History Collection – The Harlem Renaissance.”

Light hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served.
