Central Market will open Curbside and Delivery service in Plano on Saturday, Feb. 23 with a community celebration for all to enjoy. The occasion will be kicked off with a ribbon cutting ceremony featuring the Dallas Cowboys’ mascot, Rowdy, along with the local Plano ISD Robinson Middle School Jazz Ensemble. Even the Plano Fire Department and fire dog, Sparky, will make a special appearance.
In addition, Central Market’s own custom made 65 ft. hot air balloon, “Whisk Away,” will be in the parking lot providing an incredible visual backdrop and fun photo opportunity for customers.
In honor of this event, Central Market/H-E-B is donating $5,000 to the Guardian Angels Society of Collin County Children’s Advocacy Center. Executive Director, Lyn McLean, will be on hand at the ceremony to accept the gift. The celebration will conclude with a live concert in the Café by beloved San Antonio rockabilly and country music band, Two Tons of Steel, along with free Central Market hamburgers and brats for customers.
